Privalov, you should update the strings displayed by the console versions of fasm, especially the _usage-string should now look like
"usage: fasm [-m#][-p#] source [output]"
since fasm supports now more than that.

Additionally, wouldn't it be nice for fasm to assume (not that fucking word) ".asm"-extension for input files, so that
"fasm myprog.asm" could be abreviated to "fasm myprog".

Cool
This may be supperfluous on windows/linux where files can now be compiled with context menues, but it REALLY simplifies compiling under bare DOS.
What do you think?

Another thing (just "administrativ"): you should update some copyright strings in the source files.

Wink
Just a last question: who is Tomasz Grysztar, is he a friend of you, Privalov?

Hy
Privalov acts like if he was Tomasz Grysztar ,
like he used to develop the fasm, so i guess its his nick.
you're not here with your real name neither.

yes, that's how it is. I was just curious.

Someone should tell him about the things I wrote to improve fasm. Has anyone an idea about that? what about you, Matrix?

I agree with you, although i'm using FasmW now, and works nice,
i have given a few advices/reports for Privalov too, but i think he is very busy at the moment. Maeby learning for exams or somethin'
if you have ideas how to overcome any problems i think Privalov whould apprichiate your help ( maeby a code snipplet or somethin' )

I know the feeling when i have so much to do and it's hard to decide what is more important ( however there are a few things what are "the first" )

I also know how he probably feels, because I just recently passed my German Abitur (oh, stress).

But many of my improvements are easy and quick to do.

Forget about the strings and copyright notes, since they now seem to be up to date.

Is there a thing/button/stuff to close once own started threads? Just because I would like to close some mine's.

That is my idea too because it'll be harder to search in the future.
If we could delete some temporary stuff, that doesn't help other users
out (even if they read it) we could clean up this board. Just some
random news won't help programming:P

I love your idea Matrix, forget about mine, yours is much better and more
easily doable.

Hello,
maeby we don't need to delete threads which topic have been solved,

if we could move it to the "solved problems"

i think this board should have a "solved problems"
and a "bug fixed codes" topic, so if the thread started decides his/her thread is finalized, it could be moved to there.

so others could find things more easily, that really need help or is actual problem

and they could browse "solved problems" topic too

Privalov, what do you think?
others?
