there is a bug in fasmd editor.
if i select a text and hit del, it doesn't del the selected text.
it only make a normal delete at cursor position.

Turn off the "secure selection" option to have more Windows-like behavior of the asmedit control.

Works for me as supposed, very good design Smile

Anyway, few things is FASMD could be improved a bit:

- Search&Replace:
- - No "Single confirm every occurrence" feature (as FASMW has)
- - Buggy on big texts, have 15 MiB text, replace "a" with "aa", there are cca 400'000 occurrences, FASMD securely fails: "out of memory"
- Press [F3], nothing happens. Better would be "Continue search - no string"
- Key index on [F1]
- File selector
- Merge [F9] and [CTL]-[F9], both compile only first, then ask whether run or not
- In bottom line, display status of insert/overwrite and horizontal/vertical
- Add insert/overwrite and horizontal/vertical also into the [F10] menu

FASMD is very good, but one needs some time to find out how to use it, first impression is "hey, I can't do anything" Wink

The ideas are not very new, see: http://board.flatassembler.net/topic.php?t=7459
