Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

If you use Firefox you'll need a plugin like DownloadHelper to do it... and of course have Flash Laughing

Nah, if you have youtube-dl (python script) you don't even need any Flash crap, aside from the FLV itself Razz

As for playback, mplayer works super for everything, including FLVs.

I heard good things about mplayer and VLC media players, but I stick with ffdshow and Media Player Classic, because it allows more filtering and post-processing and is fast. Smile

Even faster. Zero the MBR out if Vista is the only OS installed, or its partition table entry if you're dual-booting. Done in 1 second. Wink

Unless you mean reassembling that box, manual and optical disk. Hmm, I guess it'll take longer. Much longer, definitely.

Just bring a bag with you the next time you take a crap. Instant Vista.

That's why sometimes, when you're constipated, it goes so hard, because the ass's RAM is almost full. Laughing

Actually Win98 seems to be the only one that can be ready to use that fast but can hog for a long while if it is trying to get an IP over a net where there is no DCHP server available.

My netbook with WinXP SP3 boots for less than a minute. 30 seconds actually. The second OS - Linux Mint boots even faster.

More important for me than things like boot time is reliability. I only boot on the odd occasion, so the boot time is of no consequence to me. The fact that I have a reliable OS means I don't need to boot very often; only when a cosmic ray hits the memory chip and causes corruption.

I really must try to find a laptop with ECC memory, then I won't need to reboot ever.
