hi
i want to paint an entire window in black. to do that i have used
GetWindowDC and SetBkColor responding to a WM_PAINT message
But i doesnt work..some has a clue how to do that?

Use FillRect with a black brush (GetStockObject(BLACK_BRUSH)). If its general Win32 programming question, I think it would be better if you asked at http://board.win32asmcommunity.net/ forum, you would surely get faster response there.

Fill the [wc.hbrBackground] member with GetStockObject(BLACK_BRUSH).
