Hi, check out my latest article on http://x86asm.net.
It describes how to call bios interrupts from 64bit Windows XP driver using HalCallBios and x86BiosExecuteInterrupt. http://www.x86asm.net/articles/calling-bios-from-driver-in-windows-xp-x64/ PS: when I am in the mood, i also am gonna try some method to recieve/pass data without corrupting system. I already have it in my head. Last edited by vid on 27 Nov 2007, 00:00; edited 1 time in total |

Quote: You have used C code on an Assembly related site Serious assembly programmer shouldn't have any problem with that ![]() But really, these are procedures coded in C, meant to be used in C, and also their C representation gives out more information. Also 64bit way of calling procedure is kinda messy, especially for people who don't know it so well, and i believe some MOVs to [rsp+20h] would confuse most readers and draw attention away from topic. That's why i decided to use C. Quote: Nice article, I hope you will continue receiving messages form the 5th dimension I sure will, there is some ass-fairy levitating around just now, desperate to reveal prophecy of BIOS calling under Vista 64bit ![]() |
