Hi, check out my latest article on http://x86asm.net.
It describes how to call bios interrupts from 64bit Windows XP driver using HalCallBios and x86BiosExecuteInterrupt. http://www.x86asm.net/articles/calling-bios-from-driver-in-windows-xp-x64/ PS: when I am in the mood, i also am gonna try some method to recieve/pass data without corrupting system. I already have it in my head. Last edited by vid on 27 Nov 2007, 00:00; edited 1 time in total |

Quote: You have used C code on an Assembly related site Serious assembly programmer shouldn't have any problem with that But really, these are procedures coded in C, meant to be used in C, and also their C representation gives out more information. Also 64bit way of calling procedure is kinda messy, especially for people who don't know it so well, and i believe some MOVs to [rsp+20h] would confuse most readers and draw attention away from topic. That's why i decided to use C. Quote: Nice article, I hope you will continue receiving messages form the 5th dimension I sure will, there is some ass-fairy levitating around just now, desperate to reveal prophecy of BIOS calling under Vista 64bit |
