I wonder if a command line option could be added to limit the assembler output to just when a warning or error occurs. This could be useful in makefiles to avoid noisy output.

So you could redirect stdout to /dev/null and you'll still be able to see errors. Anyway, sounds good to have a "-quiet" option.
