Hi Guys,

Please find attached a very basic IDE for b0 for Windows. ( http://board.flatassembler.net/topic.php?p=63000#63000 )

The editor can be used for FASM, just go into the options and set the fasm executable path... (The IDE calls fasm as an external process).

All basic features are included, well all the same that are in Notepad... (See the screen shot).
* Multiple documents.
* Syntax Highlighting.
* Build b0 source
* Build asm source
* Use make.

Source will be posted once I complete v0.0.21 of b0. (I can email to you direct, but is rather large, and in a state of flux so would prefer to wait).

Enjoy.

PS. Feedback is welcome
PPS. Windows XP x64 OR Vista x64 + .NET 2.0 Framework is REQUIRED
PPPS. Cross posting to get better coverage of users....

None so far. There are a few small bugs with text selection and copy/paste routines that need to be fixed, but there are no plans for too much further development on the the Windows IDE unless I get bored or a killer feature needs to be added.

As a footnote, the b0 IDE for Windows was only ever designed as a notepad replacement with some additional features like Syntax highlighting, restore last session, and able to compile/assemble from the IDE. The feature list was kept short also, since I was testing and bug fixing the DLL version of the b0 compiler as well...

Once v0.0.22 of the b0 compiler is completed with macro support, I'll fix up those bugs in the Windows IDE, possibly add some more features (suggestions welcome), and will start on a complete IDE for UNIX, (target will be Solaris, and should build on Linux, *BSDs, or any othr UNIX clone).

Does the IDE have the auto-complete feature?

Unfortunately, no it doesn't.

Part of the reason is that the text editor control is derived from the SharpDevelop IDE text editor control, which lacks true auto-completion functionality. (They bolt on the auto-completion for their IDE).

The other part of why not, is that I never intended it to have it. (The IDE admittedly was a test of the b0.dll functionality, and also for me to learn a bit about C# and .NET, and therefore limited it's functionality scope).

Will it be added in future? Unlikely.
