See instructions in file /source/app.zip/boot64hd.asm
I recommend a completely empty HD for first time installation tests.
HD installation will be automated later.

-Download the compressed imagefile, unpack it and write it to the A: floppy (or use the installer)
-Once the image is written, open the A: drive and browse to the "source" folder. Inside you will find app.zip containing the file boot64hd.asm. open it with a text editor and read the instructions.

-If you still want to go on after reading the instructions, use fasm to assemble (compile) the boot64hd.asm file.
-use a hex editor (like hxd) that can open physical drives to write the resulting file to the first sector of the floppy disk.

Okay, I know this is a delayed response, but ...

  • get ATV's UNIMG.COM (DOS tool to unpack 1.44 MB floppy image, no LFNs though)
  • find the above-mentioned file in the corresponding dir created
  • use something like WDE.COM (DOS raw sector editor) to write the boot sector to a floppy

Both of these tools should work even in WinXP (for floppy drives, at least).

Hello, the topic is relevant. This file was not found on the floppy disk or in the disk image.
There is a board suitable for this system: Intel NUC DE3815TYKHE!
