Garthower, check the latest Intel manuals, they get updated quite often and SSE4 is still not documented officially. I think FASM should wait for that.

Documentation about new commands фlways documented earlier, than there will be processors with these sets of commands that when they will appear, there was already their support in compilers. What for to use is already other question. If it isn't necessary to you, it does not mean, that it isn't necessary to someone. You can already buy processors Intel Peryn with SSE4 in 2008 year and as has shown experience of DivX Codecs, from SSE4 it's possible to receive a good gain of speed.
