Hello to all,

does anybody have some information on how to make bochs emulation x64-code. Do I have to recompile Bochs and which settings do I have to use to enable x64 support. Are there many bugs in x64-emulation? Does the debugger also work for x64 modes?

Or should I use another Virtual Machine or emulator?

Ok, I found what I needed

Yes I have to recompile Bochs to enable X86-64 support. Recompiling Bochs failed in VC++ (don't ask why, I'm a C++ noob Wink

. QEmu contains an x86-64 version in its windows package, which seems to work fine. The debugging tool "info registers" is said to be not able to show the extended registers.

Use QEMU. It can emulate x86-64 without a problem.
