I enough for a long time use Mozilla Thunderbird x64 (can be downloaded here: http://vector64.com ), but always collided with inconvenience - standard plug-in MinimizeToTray does not work with the version since uses 32-bit DLL, and it is not compatible to a 64-bit native code. And I wrote a patch. The given package pathes a Thunderbitd's EXE-file, attach inside a call of library which does the necessary action. Unfortunately, I have not made a high-grade plug-in since I am not able to do them for this client. Also, people who do 64-bit assembly, have not shared with me the adapted codes
If someone knows, how plug-ins for Ергтвукишкв are correctly done, it will be possible to make a high-grade plug-in. I unfortunately donэt have time to study them to do. Patch can be downloaded here: http://garthower.org.ua/index.php?option=com_weblinks&task=view&catid=36&id=53 Usage: Copy files "thuderbird_patch.exe" and "tray.dll" to directory with Mozilla Thunderdird and run "thuderbird_patch.exe". If patch successful, file "thuderbird_patch.exe" can be deleted, but file "tray.dll" must be in directory with Thunderbird x64. WARNING!!! Backup your copy first, since the mechanism of removal of a patch still is not realized! Tested on Thunderbird 2.0.0.0 on Windows Vista Business x64. If someone its interesting, all questions, bugs and wishes please write to me on email, garthower @ garthower. org. ua (without the spaces) or post here. |
