I've just extended the Linux interface to accept an extra command-line option. When you run the assembler with -e or -E option, it writes nothing to the output file, but instead writes the preprocessor output to standard output.

I thought it didn't make sense to have fasm write to a file, since it'd be against the SSSO design principle... After all, when people ask to see the preprocessed source, it's usually only to see one or two points... Anyway, you can always redirect, but then take into account the message fasm prints in the beginning, which is still included.


There is a TODO: accept only source file name if -e/E option is given... Not too difficult!

I forgot to mention that the routine "convert_preprocessed_source" isn't mine... it's Tomasz's...
