similar to the import of dynamic link libraries *.dll I would like to import a static lib:
section '.idata' import data readable writeable
library kernel32,'c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KERNEL32.DLL',\
nidaq32,'c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\NIDAQ32.dll'

is it possilble to say

library foo.lib,'c:\whateverfolder\FOO.LIB'

or something like this?
thanks for any help - doro

no, it isn't.

you must compile your file to object file, and then link it using linker.
