YONG
My current job, completely unrelated to computer/IT, is coming to an end this month. I need to hunt a new job ASAP; otherwise ... Crying or Very sad

It is kind of harsh to make a living here in Hong Kong because of the high living standard. Sad

Wish me good luck! (And pray for me if you're a believer! Perhaps this is a test given to me, an atheist, by God!)

YONG

or maybe you will find better, IT-releated job...

In our country people often change jobs, usually going to better one

You won't have any difficulty finding a new and probably better job in Hong Kong.

Check this out!

I absolutely LOVE Hong Kong. It's my favorite city in asia. My favorite restaurant is the Red Pepper. I used to spend hours in the Golden Arcade in the (phonetic) Sham Shui Po region in Kowloon shopping for computer parts.

Good luck YONG! We're anxious to hear about your new job.

right... or more precisely, as a sane person (not just atheist) you shouldn't "believe" in anything. You should rather try to prove than believe...

so YONG can try to prove existence of luck by finding great job Laughing

I am very sorry to learn that your current employer is losing his/her best employee.
Agree with HyperVista about HongKong, my favorite restaurant there has no name, but it serves only vegetarian food, and is on a back alley on the mainland side, that should narrow it down to about half a million establishments.
Some of the world's greatest thinkers, scholars, inventors, and other neer do wells have been unemployed at various times in their lives. Jack London comes to mind, among many others....

I sincerely wish you good fortune, I wish I could offer you a position, but alas my funds are a little low right now,...
Please keep us informed of your progress....
We have our fingers crossed!
