ASProtect should belong to best protectors, AFAIK.

Another good is SVKP (on which i am working too right now ). See http://www.defendion.com/technology.htm. Unfortunatelly it somehow isn't sold these days (dont ask...)

No matter if he use some depackers or whatever tool but I heard that there is no tool for the latest version of ASProtect so you have to unprotect it by hand to get the precious unpacked executable.

By crack I mined, unpack it in memory to get to the OEP

I even have OllyScript for searching the OEP in ASProtect 1.3x.

It's not just packer, it's protector, it destruct import, replace some instruction with similar and left it's code and data, so it's almost impossible to get original executable. But usually(almost always) it's enough to analyze and keygen(or patch protected code + CheckSum) the program in IDA dumped by OllyDump and unpacked by OllyScript.

you're trying to keygen rsa1024? gre-e-at many programs uses inner asprotect keygeneration routines, and this is a RSA

By the way, it isn't always possible even to say what "original OEP" is. See this

biggest problem with automatic unpacking are things like encrypted blocks or alive checks, which modify executable in a way that it cannot run without wrapper. You need to locate these manually or use some heuristic, and you can still miss some in seldom-executed code.
