Anyone know where I can find a copy of this tutorial, which used to be available on decard.net?

Thanks in advance

Thanks, vid. Can you recommend me something more up-to-date, pitched at the same level?

nay, i don't have any overview of existing tutorials.

just get everything you can, read as much as you have taste, and play with it...

whenever there is a problem, and you can't solve it yourself (you tried all possibilities that came to your mind), then ask for help

After reading the documentation, reading http://flatassembler.net/docs.php?article=ufasm helps a lot, there is a very clean explanation about the "\" processing too.
