when i use the following macro an error occurs. is this not allowed?

macro nextType xString
{
push xString
push stream.stdout
call text.write
}

it looks allright. what kind of error?

crash? or some error is returned by text.write? (CF=1)

it's a windows error. the following appears in a dialog window

k2-m.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

i'm executing this from CMD

fixed. i was passing an incorrect value to the macro.
