I have a big problem: MenuetOS doesn't work ; it says:

Starting MenuetOS ...............
KERNEL MNT ?

And when it says KERNEL MNT ?, I can't type anything.

I tried with two computers and three diskettes...

What can I do ?

What happened here is Window NT/ME/XP blocks you from writing to the boot sector of the hard drive.

i suggest using a imaging program and download the image from menuetos.org and use the program to write to the disk.

I had the same problem but due to having Linux on another parttion i used teh unix commands to write the disk and had no problems after that.

Actually WinME doesn't block an access to the bootsector, I have no problem when installing it under this system. And on Menuet homepage you can find Windows installer that is supposed install this OS under any Windows .
