AFAIK, asp is not allowed on the hosting of fresh.flatassembler.net
But for now we need only the main layout not some server side engine, so HTML+CSS should be ok for this design. Regards |

I've made a few more samples on images: (didn't think of the size, but IMO it's ok for "on-site-display")
http://w1.364.telia.com/~u36404088/temp/ The last image (ft0db.png) isn't too good, try to imagine it with out the red text. I don't have time for competing, but I can lend an hand or so if needed. (IMO it's better to have an open discussion of examples, like A does something, then B and C comments it and D has an suggestion on how to improve what A have done based on the comments of B and C, so D makes an new example and then we're back at the beginning and keep improving things untill we're all happy. - Do you under stand my idea?) _________________ ... a professor saying: "use this proprietary software to learn computer science" is the same as English professor handing you a copy of Shakespeare and saying: "use this book to learn Shakespeare without opening the book itself. - Bradley Kuhn |

The blurs are nice, but IMO word "Fresh" should be more contrasting.

ok, I've upploaded a few more extra images with a little enchanced contrast. (please say what of the images that would be better with what change, like "the fresh text in imageX.png should be more red and a little less transparent")

IMHO, you should remove the extra word fresh because the way art_sands has done it looks extremely clean and attractive. try adding only the code lines to it. Make it extremely unreadable but distinguishable by reducing the font size and reducing opacity. i dont know how one can do that otherwise i would have added my stuff too--it's all in my head.
oh and this size if it is the one that johnnyboy ![]() ![]() ![]() _________________ --A donkey always says thank you with a kick. |

JohnFound's one with the logo text from artsands' would be very nice IMO (but why is there that strange space between S and M letters?). And I like also the Tommy's logo - very simple and aesthetic.

And like also the Tommy's logo - very simple and easthetic. Well, all you visibly like red letters for main text label. It is a little strange for me, because red and green are too different colors and whole logo becomes a little bit motley, but I wanted to keep it more plain and simple - like dew drop. ![]() OK I will make the label red and we will see what will happen. Regards. |

I changed my second picture with another font (not art_sands's) and add some "jedy lightsaber" effect to the letters. What you mean now?
BTW: I remove the poll, so if someone want to update pictures, post updates and I will move them in the first post. Regards. |

I think "JohnFound1" is better than "JohnFound2".

Hi John, You're probably right about the red thing looking a bit of motley. Even while making it and putting it online i mentioned that many may not like it, but the reason i put it that way was because of the color theory lessons I had learnt at graphics courses. Red catches the eye faster than any other color (except green, which is already there), while white on green looks more natural, red picks out "fresh" from the rest, and makes it the focal point. You can testify that yourself. There goes a lot of theory behind logo design, and this is the result of that. There has been a study about red that stating that it promotes self-confidence. But you can choose whichever you want. I'm not at home, so I'll tell you the font alongwith the precision details later so you can get the exact image. Thank you. I like your work, and try using Photoshop for your work. It's excellent and perhaps the only software that should be used for 2d graphics.
