Here is a low-budget sci-fi movie:

Embers (2015)
https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/embers_2015/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3503460/

I found it a bit on the boring side. But the lead actress is pretty!

Here is a recent Japanese sci-fi movie:

Terra Formars (2016)

The computer animations are quite nice. The story line is a bit on the silly side, but overall, the film is fun to watch.

Most critics seem to slam this sequel. Can't wait to see how bad it is!

Finally had time to watch this sequel, and was a bit disappointed by the story. The way the four horsemen steal the chip from a highly-secured facility is nothing but idiotic. Morgan Freeman's superb acting and the ending scene are the only two things that deserve credits.

Windtalkers
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0245562/

Quote:
Two U.S. Marines in WWII are assigned to protect Navajo Marines who use their native language as an unbreakable radio cypher.

lots of sadness, anguish,

why human need to kill each others because of certain group of individual desire? power, control,
this is plain wrong, why weapon of mass destruction?

why so many people must get hurt, get killed, dead, bombed,

like what is happening right now in syria, palestine, israel, all the isis insurgents,

they should jail those arms dealers, bankers, we can build a better world, travel to moon, mars, another earth,

after a 50 years, we see how foreigners go to japan, staying there, working there, how japanese go to us, how germans and jews today,

Image

dogma,
how human stop thinking, brainwashed by religion, political figures, parties, websites, fear, to dominate, bully, why?

why chicken, beef, fishes, all these meats, why? Crying or Very sad

it just naive part of me to think how human couldn't co-exists in peace here and able to do so on moons, mars and etc places, before they unleash their new galaxy weapons and start obliterating every things that move

Humans have unlimited wants but resources are always limited. There are two ways to tackle this conundrum: civilized and barbarian. The civilized way is TRADE whereas the barbarian way is WAR. Sadly, many humans tend to choose the latter.

agree,

seeing the above pictures, my mind keep on wondering, why,
why argument, disagreement must eventually lead into a death or alive settlement?

if we try to look into it, the whole reason why everything lead to violence is because there are null efforts to solve them in the beginning.

this thing is like fire, when they are small, people should put them out instead of after they are raging the whole forest.

or we could say, initial violence effort emerge, and eventually everybody use violence as a respond to previous violence, and this lead to very complex and unsolvable threads,

nobody care to uphold justice and give fair judgement to conflicts, issues, problems.

It takes lots of resources and manpower to do so. Who would be willing to pay for that?

initially put out a tiny sparks / fire could be easily done by anyone,

but the main issue are, there exists people who want the fire to grow big, huge fire but they gone missing later instead of put out this huge fire they fanning,
