I intended to see this movie but unfortunately missed so far. I add it to my want list, i've heard good things.
Thanks for reminding me YONG!

Equally interesting, a sci-fi/fantasy film The Man from Earth (2007) directed by Richard Schenkman.

The movie is basically a conversation amongst college professors.
Excellent script, good acting, a brilliant low budget movie imho, will occupy a viewer's mind for days.

Pay It Forward, a 2000 drama film, is one of my favorite movies of all time.

The acting of Haley Joel Osment, a young boy then, was just stunningly brilliant.

You can watch the entire movie here.

The 6th Day, a 2000 film, is a sci-fi action thriller which addresses issues like human cloning and memory scan (i.e., the process of copying memory from your brain to external electronic devices).

You can watch the entire movie here.

sleepsleep I liked 'Tron Legacy' too, disney films never disappoint me.
YONG I have lost count on how many times I've seen Leon. Smile

A few more films from the world of science fiction and thriller.

Children of Men (2006), directed by Alfonso Cuarón, an exceptional futuristic film.

Pandorum (2006), directed by Christian Alvart. An ALIEN type space movie, terrifying, dark and atmospheric.

El Orfanato (2007), directed by Juan Antonio Bayona. Well directed, atmospheric ghost story with a lot of suspens and a strong finale.

Triangle (2009), directed by Christopher Smith. A brain-twisting thriller movie, which seems sadly predictable at first, and suddenly it goes freaking wild.

Rec (2007), directed by Jaume Balagueró & Paco Plaza. A really scary atmospheric Spanish production that will blow you away. Not for the fainted hearted.

Well, I'm not a "diligent" TV or cinema spectator. In fact I don't like TV at all and don't turn the TV set on if I'm not forced to do it. Wink But I made a one exception this year - on April 30th our Polish television transmitted the Thai horror Shutter and I simply had to watch it (such exotic "pearls" aren't too common here).

Aforementioned movie left a permanent and heavy stigma in my mind. No, not because I was specially scared. Not at all. The worst in this whole film was a vision of unnecessary cruelty of usual people who, at first sight, shouldn't be able to kill a fly, combined with cowardice of the main character.

You can see the whole movie here: Shutter (2004) - Thai Horror Film

Speaking of Asian horror film production, Korea and Thailand are catching up, but Japan, in my humble opinion, is still the leader! Wink

Juon (meaning "The Curse"), a 2000 film, is a perfect example.

You may watch the entire movie here.
