I would say it is a mix of "The Hunger Games" and "Divergent".

A bit of "The Cube" too.

Watched it last night. The 3D CGs are truly fantastic. If you read between the lines, you will realize that the movie explores the notion of political correctness a lot: stereotyping, discrimination, inequality, and so on. But the most important question is: Why should animals wear clothes?

This is a very good animated film. Hope that there will be a sequel.

Just watched. It is a good budget film about time travel, and is quite similar to SYNCHRONICITY (2015) (recommended by a wise forum member earlier in this thread):

Anthony Hopkins, almost 80, is still rocking!

Here you have an American crime thriller:

Manhattan Night (2016)

It reminds me of the classic Basic Instinct (1992).

Well, I guess the following TV series will also be your cup of tea:

Here you have a cult/romantic movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal, the lead actor of Source Code:

Demolition (2016)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a80Hmk7vGSQ

The first 30 minutes or so is truly intriguing, and the ending 10 minutes has some surprises, too. But the in-between sounds a bit too "cult" to me.

Just watched "Independence Day: Resurgence".

As expected, the CGs are fantastic. But the story is so-so. I think the writers tried TOO HARD to mimic the success of the original. As a result, the film lacks originality. The new characters are okay. I would say the only creative element is the spherical "life-form".

Overall, it is a good movie but not a great one.
