Two films i saw recently and liked:

Open Grave, a solid horror film.

Coherence, a sci-fi thriller about alternate realities.
I watched "Coherence" a couple of days ago, which is not bad at all, though I wish the ending could be a bit better. Very nice low-budget recommendation indeed. Wink

Here is a low-budget film for those sci-fi fans who are particularly interested in time travel:

Predestination

Question: Which comes first, the chicken or the egg?
Answer: It can be both!

watch this just now,
the maze runner (2014)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1790864/

nice one, lots of ideas,
Quote:
The Maze Runner is the first book in a young-adult post-apocalyptic science fiction trilogy of the same name by James Dashner.[1][2] The novel was published on October 6, 2009, by Delacorte Press, an imprint of Random House, and was made into a 2014 major motion picture by 20th Century Fox. The sequel to the movie, The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials is set to be released on September 18, 2015. The novel spawned two sequels: The Scorch Trials (2010) and The Death Cure (2011).

Dashner also wrote a prequel to The Maze Runner, entitled The Kill Order, that came out in 2012. [3] He also announced that another prequel, The Fever Code, is set to be released in 2016.

Watched "The Maze Runner" a couple of days ago. The CG is really nice but I would say the storyline lacks originality.

yeah, a quick read on wiki shows a different story compare to movie,
maybe need to be less violent in movie, maybe, otherwise might not suitable for all ages.

Watched this low-budget sci-fi movie quite a few weeks ago. I wish the identical-retina-pattern plot toward the end of the film could get developed a bit more. Anyway, it is a very nice motion picture. Wink

Yeah. Watched this film quite a few weeks ago. I wish the two-unalterable-protocols plot could get developed a bit more; the same applies to the pet-like robot built by the other robots toward the end of the movie. Wink
