I am gonna see Red Lights (2012), on saturday evening most likely.
I watched this movie last night. The plot is good but the ending could have been better. Excellent acting by Sigourney Weaver! Wink

just watched this,
the girl (Bridget Moynahan) is beautiful and the spy story is good.

The Recruit
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Recruit
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0292506/
Quote:

In an era when the country's first line of defense, intelligence, is more important than ever, this story opens the CIA's infamous closed doors and gives an insider's view into the Agency:

how trainees are recruited,
how they are prepared for the spy game, and what they learn to survive.

James Clayton might not have the attitude of a typical recruit, but he is one of the smartest graduating seniors in the country - and he's just the person that Walter Burke wants in the Agency.

James regards the CIA's mission as an intriguing alternative to an ordinary life, but before he becomes an Ops Officer, James has to survive the Agency's secret training ground, where green recruits are molded into seasoned veterans.

As Burke teaches him the ropes and the rules of the game, James quickly rises through the ranks and falls for Layla, one of his fellow recruits. But just when James starts to question his role and his cat-and-mouse relationship with his mentor...

I intend to see tonight Hell (2011), a German production, a post apocalytpic sci-fi thriller. I let you know if it's worth.

Storyline: "In the not too distant future, people struggle to survive their greatest enemy, the sun."

^^Yes it does.
The first half hour was quite good, tense and promising, then the film changed more to a zombie (without zombies) type movie than a pure sci-fi.
Unfortunatelly the story is rather weak and lacks of depth, yet the scene of the destroyed and desolate planet is well made and believable.

cloverfield
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloverfield

Quote:

The film is presented as found footage from a personal video camera recovered by the United States Department of Defense. A disclaimer text states that the footage is of a case designated "Cloverfield" and was found in the area "formerly known as Central Park". The video consists chiefly of segments taped the night of Friday, May 22, 2009. The newer segments were taped over older video that is shown occasionally.

I liked cloverfield a lot, i saw it twice Smile

I watched last night Looper (2012), an action thriller involving time traveling, telekinesis and the mafia in a futuristic grim future.
A decent, stylish drama-noir, but confusing with logical flaws. I felt a little bored at some moment. Emily Blunt was lovely.

Last night i watched Lake Mungo (2008), a documentary film with testimonies about the unexplained events that -supposedly- occurred before and after the disappearance of a young girl. The story slowly evolving and towards the end becomes quite interesting. Although not too scary, it left me a good impression overall, i like ghost stories.
