Perhaps the reason Engineer gets so angry and tears David's head off, is that he woken up by an android who speaks his language build by those insignificant human beings and this totally freaks him out.

(Just a theory)

hi picnic,

that is very possible, especially when someone was woken up suddenly when they are still enjoying sleeping. Laughing

btw,
here is the extended scene, don't know if you watch it already or not.

Reset: Hontou no Shiawase no Mitsukekata (SP) (J-Drama) (2012)
http://doramax264.com/14831/reset-hontou-no-shiawase-no-mitsukekata-sp-j-drama-2012-coming-soon/

Quote:
Kayama Tomoko (Suzuki Honami), a full-time housewife in her 40s, once wanted to become an actress. She and her husband, Hiroyuki (Terawaki Yasufumi), have been together since high school days, but no one in the family pays attention to her and her days are dreary. One day, Tomoko is shocked to see that the popular top idol on TV, Shion (Higashide Masahiro), is a dead ringer for an ex-classmate called Hanabusa Aya. Close to 30 years have passed since then. A surprised Tomoko makes a phone call to classmate Akasaka Harumi (Sakai Maki) for the first time in a long while.

very heart warming story.

The plot of this film is very similar to Never Let Me Go (2010) (which you mentioned earlier), though I guess it is action-based. Wink

And yes, Scarlett Johansson is a real catch! Razz Wink

Yes she is Smile
And 'The Island' movie is pretty good also.

I saw recently Lost in Translation (2003), a very sweet film which i really liked, with Scarlett Johansson.

I intend to see most likely today Outland a 1981 sci-fi action thriller with Sean Connery in Blu Ray. It has been many years since the last time i saw it on VHS.

I watched this movie a couple of days ago. The plot is very good, but the ending is a bit oversimplified -- maybe the budget was too tight to create an explosive finishing touch! Wink

Hehe, here is a photo of a summer cinema which was next to my mother's house, -literally- 5 meters distance from our balcony.
Early evening the music was start playing. You know beloved orchestral cinema themes. Then the movie. I was sleeping with explosions. Fantastic.

wikipedia.com wrote:

Norwegian Wood (ノルウェイの森 Noruwei no mori?) is a Japanese drama film directed by Tran Anh Hung, based on Haruki Murakami's novel of the same name. The film was released in Japan on 11 December 2010.[2]

Toru Watanabe is a quiet and serious young man in 1960s Tokyo whose personal life is in tumult, having lost his best friend Kizuki after he inexplicably commits suicide. Seeking an escape, Toru enters a university in Tokyo. By chance, during a walk in a park, Toru meets Kizuki's ex-girlfriend Naoko, and they grow close. Naoko is devastated by the loss of Kizuki and spirals into a deep depression.[3]

After Naoko's 20th birthday, which she shares with Toru, she withdraws from the world and leaves for a sanitarium in a remote forest setting near Kyoto. Toru is anguished by the situation, as he still has deep feelings for Naoko, but she is unable to reciprocate. He also lives with the influence of death everywhere, while Naoko feels as if some integral part of her has been permanently lost. He continues with his studies, and during the spring semester meets an attractive girl and fellow student Midori, who is everything that Naoko isn't — outgoing, vivacious, and supremely self-confident. The story then follows Toru as he is torn between the two women in his life, and choosing between his past and his future.
