I've been reading PC Asm for a while [as suggested]. I guess it's time for me to write stuff. My first program is a TSR filename completion program for ms-dos. I lack of information Smile Do you have any suggestion to get me started? Thanks a lot

rugxulo,
I got no real help from this thread. I'm totally confused right now. I've been on the art of assembly hoping to get some help from there, but you must learn another language in order to output very complicated fasm code Sad So I've deleted the files. Even the 16-bit version requires you to download a library that hides how things works from you. Everybody is making assembler a hard programming language to learn. I just want to learn to write good asm programs in fasm and only fasm.

I'm not advancing at all, help me...

nvictor: try to play with examples, understand them, change something to do something else, etc. etc.

nvictor, looking at examples can help a lot. Also, check out the FASM's docs, Ralf Brown's interrupt list, DOS debug tutorials, and stuff like that. That should get you started. (Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. Patience, young padawan. Smile )
