Hello,
I am looking for a Notebook with minimally 400MHz
and it should be cheap. Does anybody know a good one?

It should have only 1x USB and 1 x PCMCIA CardBus.
CD-ROM Drive not needed.

Greetings

How cheap is cheap? $500? $50?? (used, I assume)
How will you get it? (Delivery? Pick it up yourself?)

(Sorry, none available from me, just trying to clarify your needs.)

Here is a review of the reviews on PDA's (personal data assistant), the more sophisticated of which can read adobe files, and access the internet, and transfer data via usb. If you need a full size keyboard, that can be added as an accessory. How large must the screen size be?

Thanks for your reply.
I already got a PDA with 500MHz
but too bad the PDA's haven't got a x86 CPU.

I only wanted to buy a cheap notebook for
programming purposes and to install some kind of
Linux or *BSD on it.

If you can settle for 286 real-mode DOS (e.g., Turbo C, Win 3.0, Word 5.5 for DOS), then try PocketDOS with your PDA (you must see the screenshots first before laughing).
