Thanks, friend, much appreciated. Umm, my German is epouvantable. Perhaps that explains your ability to comprehend it--for it is really just badly written English. No wonder poor MCD could not understand me!! I became lost during that bit about putting the verbs at the end....

i still remember those 5-10 lessons we were learning about "Seehundaufzuchstation". Another funny quarter-year topic was "Analfabet", since then when we wanted to call someone a name, we called him "fabet".

Another German word-play is to remove the "y" (since they aren't much used in the german language anyway) from "analytische Geometrie"

Well, if you think such long words like "Seehundaufzuchstation" are seldom, then you haven't seen official letters and laws yet. You can easily find nouns that are longer than 100letters.
