Some how i've come across some things about MCI, and now i've become even more curious about what i can do with it. I've done a small google search and the first few links came up with junk, so i'm asking if anyone happens to have any mci tutorials in their bookmarks, cause it appears that i could use it to handle alot of my junk jobs, like displaying animated images and such without having to go through a large list of tutorials like openGL or Direct Draw or decoding an mp3 file and playing it.

i tried msdn first and looked up mcisendstring and didn't get anything this useful. And i always forget about wikipedia, anyway... Thanks.
