I am still wondered why this little bug is not fixed yet. Does nobody uses "OneInstanceOnly" FASMW.INI option? I just little tired to fix it anytime when FASM updates, so i'm asking Tomasz to delete/comment ShowWindow() call at "window_already_exists" label in future releases. This call really stress peoples who are using FASMW maximized with the "OneInstanceOnly" option set on :).

Thanks.

Looks like it'll be second time when Tomasz ignoring my suggestion :).

Похоже это будет уже второй раз, когда Томаш игнорирует мое предложение.

Sure i understand it. But i'm too worried about this project Smile - it slowed down a lot.

; edit

If Tomasz will publish the sources under GPL and stop to work on it, it will be not FASM. Without his ideas and knowledges it just another dead sourceforge.net project.

it didn't. Tomasz did lot of upgrades to FASMW, which are invisible for now, but will become visible soon. Search for "FASMD" for example

vasilev: please don't post russian-only posts. please edit it and add english translation.

Invisible changes... Hm. But where are really noticed addins/bugfixes? The only thing that stopping me to write it all by myself is the license and time (Tomasz as creator can do it much faster).

I think that all the time that he killed on FASMD developement will be better to use for implementing plugins support for FASMW. Sad

GR-K: those two things went together IMHO. For plugin system, you need to have very clean design.

Does FASM is not cleanly designed assembler? Cross-platform self-assebmliing assembler was a miracle before FASM. Tomasz show that it's reality.

Well, I think Tomasz is much qualified/expirienced to design such system ;).

The bug in FASMW is fixed now.

As for mentioned FASMD - it is my "pet project", a tribute to my favourite of the operating system, to the operating system where the fasm was first born... Even if it doesn't mean much for anyone else, it does mean much for myself.

And as for the FASMW's plugin system, it's going to be based on window messages, so it's not much related to editor core development really. From the very beginning FASMW had some messages designed with a plugin system in mind and they are there. In fact, even from external program you already could do much just by finding FASMW's window and sending appropriate messages to it... However there are a few important ones that still need some work to get available.

Thank you.

As you see it's even not a bug :). Yeah, all you really need to do - is plugin management in FASMW. All a plugin is needed in, it can get using Win32 API.
