I dunno. Considering that the world has 6,000 natural languages, how can any one be best? It's all a matter of taste, mostly. (I am not 100% satisfied with any language I've tried ... though Forth looks kinda nice).

Really none are the best. It's a chart of who thinks they're the best. I'm not finished learning assembly, but i'm already taking a strong liking to assembly due to the freedom it gives and that it will always have support, unlike some languages like action script where it could be replaced by something else and all the resources which you depend on could get removed. (I could imagin the poor C++ programmers 10 years from now trying to develop on a version of windows where there isn't a compiler with lib files compatable with that OS.)
