I'm writing my win32 apps from scratch based on the DIB.asm example i found on this forum. But i don't know how i can define resources from scratch. Can anybody help me?

You could first check the fasm manual, and second look at some of the examples included with fasmw

You can look at the source for the macros if you understand the fasm macro system. I also think i vaguely remember the old win32.hlp api documentation containing information about the binary res format.
