I've used turbo assembler for about five years before switching to fasm a few months ago, and I program for a living, so I have used other tools. While I agree with you as far as high-level languages are concerned, I have yet to see someone write more than 50 lines of good assembly code without any testing or even assembling. Thanks to wonderfully abstracted API's we can spend 50 lines pushing and calling to make the OS do something, but that is hardly what I would considering coding.

Well, as u may know or not i wrote an assembler too... it too had the error cascade effect until i fixed it
