hi guys i have a question for linux users,

how do you write dvds on linux?

can you give me some advise?

i have tried k3b with growisofs and i think my drive is not supported, because buffer level is unknown, and dvd is written at 0.4x instead of 16x.

This should probably be in Heap, but what I use is growisofs, and it works fine.
Another one you could try is a patched version of cdrecord which allows burning to DVDs. Read that page carefully for the instructions though.
X-CD-Roast also allows burning to DVDs, it explains on the front page about it.

Good luck.

thought dvd writing on linux is more linux and programming related then heap...

i have compiled latest growisofs,

i dont like proDVD because of that licence ...
and there are no sources, XcdRoast uses that.
