Wow. I am surprised VL is still alive. It was a very nice distro five or so years ago, very small and clean.

Actually gave up on VL in the end Razz. I couldn't manage to get the nvidia drivers working properly. But now finally got a Gentoo box installed yay! Very Happy

No monitor, mouse, keyboard - just one power cable + one network cable.
Works like a dream, boot up, autologin and connect via TightVNC on my main box Very Happy.

Cheers.

Hmm, I didn't know acer offered Linux versions, when I bought my acer aspire 5102 laptop it came with XP Media Centre and I had to dual boot Linux.

The new FSF-backed completely 'free' distro is called gNewSense (aka, GNU/nuisance -- supposedly RMS's nickname).
