Right now I am working on the boot loader. I am using fasmw 1.67.15 and I dont know where to start. I am reading the manual that came with it, and have been reading about os development. Anybody have advice or comments. Please, no flames. I am a n00b. Confused

just continue doing what you were. browse this section of forum, read articles, download examples etc.

My suggestion is NOT to start with OS directly. Start with some simple COM programs for DOS.

I put ReactOS, but Dex OS is probably my true favorite. I also like Windows 95-98SE/DOS and Linux. I can't really complain about any OS out there so far as long as they work. :-S
