I hope the includes are going to be in lowercase .
FASMINCLUDE: too long FINCLUDE: don't like how that sounds FINC: This is ok, short FASMINC: Cool, Just right Can't wait for v1.50. Fasm is the heir to the assembler throne _________________ silkodyssey Last edited by silkodyssey on 27 Nov 2003, 23:49; edited 1 time in total |

fasminclude is my vote, there is no change of misstake, it's fasm's include dir.
fasminc, well, it's nice, too but I like the longer form better. _________________ ... a professor saying: "use this proprietary software to learn computer science" is the same as English professor handing you a copy of Shakespeare and saying: "use this book to learn Shakespeare without opening the book itself. - Bradley Kuhn |

I vote no global environment variable. Use environments in the fasm.ini file to locate all the directories.
If you must go with an include (for dos version maybe?) i vote : fasminclude This is most descriptive and length doesn't really matter, you're only writing it once in batch file. |
