Currently I have no such plans. If (when) v2.0 will be finished, probably I'll
try the version for Linux. But, if Microsoft's Way Of Life will dominate, soon
any debugger will be rendered useless. Every single byte of every program on
every computer will be encrypted, protected, certified and DMCAed to the very
end...

Today my brother told me about the new update of the OllyDbg 2.0 page. It talks about command (instruction) searching, take a look because is at least an interesting improvement.

I mailed him already and I don't want to disturb him much. Can you send a mail to him asking that (providing some links too) and pointing him to this thread?

He is making OllyDbg 2 from scratch due to wrong desing desitions took during the OllyDbg 1 development. According to the answer to my mail he has no plans for x86-64 version which IMO it seriously risk the live of OllyDbg if this new desing doesn't have room for a possible 64-bit version. I just hope that the new desing fit well any future improvements/extentios.

i was asking him about this already. There will be ideal syntax, which has just minor differences "[dword 401234]" instead of "dword [401234]".
