Is there a single set of ARM manuals like Intel has? The reason why I ask is because for a research topic for my English class, I'm writing a paper comparing the two architectures (primarily LISC and RISC architectures). Hope someone can help! I need the info before the weekends up, 'because I have to write it this weekend. It's got to be 8 pages long. (EEK!)

Ah, I see. Awesome! And when I said LISC, I meant CISC. (I couldn't remember the acronym correct, and thought it was "Large Instruction Set Computer" instead of "Complex Instruction Set Computer".) Just out of my own curiousity, does anyone know how these chips are manufactured? I've thought of going into chip hardware as a future possibility. Thanks!

With very expensive equipment in very expensive factories (called fabs in the industry). But you might try searching for terms like "silicon lithography". I recall the Intel website has some papers about the technology used to manufacture the IC's.
