In the "Assembler Comparisment" there was only one from me, so relax. Although I think you mean to say, I cleaned up with speed, didn't really read but quickly ran over it and deleted what I have deleted, this work-method deleted own posts as well, even the ones intended to keep.

Niels.

ps.
There is still not an angry man talking from this side. Smile

don't insert words into my mouth. i did read every post, and remembered what it is about.

also, it is polite to answer question that you have been given, not just blaming each other, for the sake of discussion...

Niels, what exactly did vid delete?

He doesn't know and I only remember things important to me, it wasn't my question.

Niels.

ps.
I don't remember the complete post, the 'ps.' slipped.

I don't have to answer the question but when someone does, it is polite to do it the best way you can, the other side deleting the answer is less polite...

Hello vid,

I hope that you'll become a fine moderator.

Niels.

ps.
People spending time with moderating and do a good, righteous job, are of great value to a forum.

I saw the last 'update' was only a couple of days ago, I looked yesterday in the first and the other posts, I couldn't find it, if you say it was there I believe you...

yes, along with deleting the posts, i edited first post. I though that those "rules" i gave there were not needed - seems they were. Hope there is some backup of it, i tried google and archive.org, but no success.

Anyway, before answering to some project thread, you should read at least first post (better entire thread) to know what is thread about. Otherwise you can happen to respond to offtopic post, thus your post is offtopic too, and may be deleted.

Quote:
If someone puts their time in seriously filtering per topic, it would be better to make an entire new thread and cut or copy the posts to the newly created thread, the 'old threads' then can be cut and bring to a specific category.

you will end up with 5 threads on same thing, and some posts will be present in more of them... that is certainly not "clean".

vid you disappoint me.

I hope you read and understand better than you can write.

Niels.

ps.
attach 'maybe someday' to the above quote, ending with "a fine moderator.", sorry.

also something about being ontopic and helpful: http://board.flatassembler.net/topic.php?t=5880, or maybe i just don't understand in what way are 80% of your posts helpful.

and i am NOT against offtopic, i like talking naturally evolving into different subject (like always in real life), but NOT in places where regulation is needed, or where such chatting may have bad effect (harder finding of relevant information)

Hello vid,

Did you ask Adam?

Besides his answer, vid wrote:

I hope you read and understand what I said about this.

How well would I moderate on a Slovakia-forum?
And when I were a frenchman trying to speak slovakian, and would be a moderator and a germanman visits the site trying to speak slovakian.

Would the frenchman understand slovakian well enough to be moderator ?

Niels.

ps.
I, as you may know, am not a native-english speaker.

pps.
Deletion without fully understanding why, is a delicate question.

My point however is not how well you speak a foreign language, this could also being said about your native-language, if I p.a. were a Slovak.

Its the point of understanding.

Niels.

your words too, and must repeat my reaction on this: "Don't insert words into my mouth".

now i at least understand you... you say that i don't understand people... well, you are first one to complain. You can prove your truth by saying what was your post about, you have been asked plenty of times.

Anyway, i wonder how you can know it was ontopic, if you didn't even bother to read first post, and so you don't know what was the thread about.

Strange but when I read Niels posts, I have a tune running in my head from Pink Floyd The Wall - The Trial

How about we all sing it together -

______________________________________________________________

Craaaazy.
Over the rainbow, I am crazy.
Bars in the window.
There must have been a door there in the wall.
For when I came in. . .
("All together now") Craaaazy. Over the rainbow, he is crazy.

The evidence before the court is incontravertible.
There's no need for the jury to retire.
In all my years of judging I have never heard before,
Of someone more deserving of the full penalty of the law.
The way you made them suffer,
Your exquisite moderator ( Vid Wink ) and fasm forum readers,
Fills me with the urge to deficate! -- No, Judge, the jury!
Since, my friend, you have revealed your deepest fear,
I sentence Niels posts to be deleted, modified and changed by his peers Smile
Tear down the wall!
