Longer one is self-describing - the source is much better readable. Shorter one leads to confusion and unnecessary comments. |

at the risk of sounding like tom tobias (greets tom), i have to agree with MazeGen. readability is enhanced with longer error codes. not everyone writes beautiful, commented code like you vid

Like everyone, i rather prefer long codes (errors or others), it's better for you and even for me when i'm reading my own old codes
