How can I use some WinAmp modules.
For example: I want to play Amiga Modules and the in_mod.dll is responsible for it ,but there is only one function exported by this dll.....

I use dependencies.exe (M$ dependencies walker) to see how much functions the dll module includes, and what are their names.
The program does not support how much parameters a dlls export.
Maybe You have a better tool to do it or links to good documentation of WinAmp modules building/using.

Best regards,

Harry Very Happy

Thank you for understanding

tried looking at the documentation for winamp plugins/components?
http://www.winamp.com/nsdn/winamp3x/sdk/
http://www.winamp.com/nsdn/winamp2x/dev/plugins/

It should contiain info on the functions the plug-in must have and how/why it's called, etc.

it is real hardcore Wink

it does not say clear which part of job depends on winamp and which on dll. Where exactly the sound is produced to raw form like in wave form to output by directsound...

It looks, the interface is universal but there is a description without any details I need.

anyway THANX ,it maybe useful in the future Smile

if anybody has a good solution to play MOD or XM please post it.

Post you soon,

Whoa, that's a bit late but anyway...

You should take a look at FMOD (www.fmod.org) or BASS (http://www.un4seen.com/). Those libraries are used in many games/demos, and are pretty easy to use.
