tried looking at the documentation for winamp plugins/components?
http://www.winamp.com/nsdn/winamp3x/sdk/ http://www.winamp.com/nsdn/winamp2x/dev/plugins/ It should contiain info on the functions the plug-in must have and how/why it's called, etc. _________________ ... a professor saying: "use this proprietary software to learn computer science" is the same as English professor handing you a copy of Shakespeare and saying: "use this book to learn Shakespeare without opening the book itself. - Bradley Kuhn |

it is real hardcore
it does not say clear which part of job depends on winamp and which on dll. Where exactly the sound is produced to raw form like in wave form to output by directsound... It looks, the interface is universal but there is a description without any details I need. anyway THANX ,it maybe useful in the future if anybody has a good solution to play MOD or XM please post it. Post you soon, _________________ Microsoft: brings power of yesterday to computers of today. |

Whoa, that's a bit late but anyway...
You should take a look at FMOD (www.fmod.org) or BASS (http://www.un4seen.com/). Those libraries are used in many games/demos, and are pretty easy to use. |

I use BASS.dll
this is very nice library and the easiest I have ever seen. _________________ Microsoft: brings power of yesterday to computers of today. |
