what do you use for debugging under linux (especially when you don't have symbols, like in case of FASM)?

I just use the same debuggers (gdb and ald), i don`t know about any better alternatives.
I don`t know how these works with executables made directly by fasm.
I always create objects and link these toghether, which makes the subroutine names avaliable, when i don`t "strip" these off.
