0x4e71 - thanks for the doc link. yeah, there seems to be some bias there, but real solid research, nonetheless. for now, a hybrid (hw/sw virtualization) approach is called for. we need to optimize our vmm systems so as to minimize moving between vmx root and vmx non-root, i.e. a kind of "context" switching.

i believe these technologies will demonstrate the importance of assembly language and hopefully reinvigorate interest in asm in general. hackers and security specialists are racing toward the deepest portions of the system (hardware and machine language layers) and the lingua franka there is assembly.
