Hi everyone!

Wow, the subject says everything, on win32 platform, the sentences like this work's fine:
Code:
proc something .var
        <--code-->
        ret
endp

But on linux i get a fasm error:
Quote:
Thaorius:/home/thaorius/asm# fasm linapi.asm
flat assembler version 1.67.6 (16384 kilobytes memory)
fasmlib/linux/api.inc [10]:
proc sys_exit .code
error: illegal instruction.
Thaorius:/home/thaorius/asm#

Why is that? how do i solve it?

Thanks

It's because 'proc' is not a directive, it is a macro. The reason why it works on the win32 platform is that the macro is included with the win32 headers.
You can include the 'MACROS\PROC.INC' file from the win32 distribution to get the macro.
