A knowledgebase sounds like a good idea... but it needs some tagging/keywords system to be usable. And a free-for-all wiki might not be the best idea, it's so annoying when malicious users fuck up the database >_<

more people means worse result... look at some linux distros. less people means better result - look at FASM.
having something so free is good in projects where quantity of needed work is more important than quality. Also, don't overcomplicate naming, this should be place to find document when you're looking for it, full name should be enough. Additional databases (area covered in documents etc.) can be solved as file lists. This way you can use both approaches, choose one you like... Simpler solution which can be extended to beheave like more high level one, is better than HL one natively, for example macros in FASM. vs built-in directive in MASM for calling system APIs... ![]() |
