I got a misslng dll error for d3dx9_24.dll but i have direct 9 installed so i found it strange. I looked in the windows\system32 directory and I found d3dx9_27.dll I copied it and renamed it to the missing file and the demo ran fine.

OS Windows XP SP2
cpu - celeron 2.13 ghz

I found some d3dx8_**.inc files in your include directory, but I don't have any files named like this - what does that file do - is it debug version?

I know that other D3D9 and DX9 games/programs work on my laptop. Hey and wasn't the last supported DirectX 8 in the Windows 9x?

madis731:
These are the d3dx8 api include files. I forgot to include the dll file on my website, should be there for download now. I don't remember exactly where I found this dll file, just that it was a third party that created it. If I recall Microsoft released a debug version as a dll file but, to my knowledge, never released a "clean non-debug" version, so when I found this dll file I was very happy. So anyways, thanks Very Happy for bringing this to my attention Exclamation

Thanks for asking about that, I'll probably make two versions. One using Direct3D 8 and One For Direct3D 9. so win95/98/ME user could possilbly use this
