Here's what I do with my copy of menuet, maybe it'll give you some ideas.
I made a folder on my hard drive named menuetos, then make made three subdirectories; programs, asm, and mhc. I then copied all the things I didn't need on the floppy to those directories incase I need them as a backup or I need reference when I'm developing something. Just doing that saved a ton of space and I still have a majority of the demo programs on the floppy. I haven't used the C compiler for menuet before so I don't know how much space you'll need, but if at all possible it might be a good idea (if you can) save and access that C compiler from the hard drive (using fat32 of course). |

Cool thanks man, now all I got to do is figure out how to add and remove stuff from the menu, is there some sort of config file for it?

Nope, no config for it and I think that really stinks. The only way to edit it would be to use menu.asm, and the select[x].asm files and change the menus manually (with a recompile and update files of course). One of my dying wishes is to see a new panel made for menuetos, even if I have to make it myself.
If you do that development in menuet, make sure you write the ramdisk to floppy before shutting off the computer or you'll lose the work you did on those files. Good luck, ~Torrey |

my one machine that is a brand new dell locks up too on shutdown, doesn't let you input options (keyboard doesn't work) at the shutdown screen. I wasn't worried too much though since that wasn't my main machine for menuet, but that's the only one I have keyboard problems with. I could toss in a keyboard controller reset in the kernel for that part, but I haven't tried it yet.
