How I can create malloc/calloc function in my OS? OS works in protected mode. I would want to see some algorithms or examples on assembler or C.

You can find a simple memory allocator in Solar OS sources.

Otherwise the standard C malloc() is relatively simple also and can be found in any LibC source code
